1. Noise Pollution. It is the unwanted sound which is dumped into the atmosphere and it interferes with human communication, comfort and health. Sources. Vehicles, musical horns, machines, transistors, radio, drum, beats of religious processions, amplified rock music and disco etc.
2. Effects.
(a) Constant exposure to this sound produces deafness, increase in nervous tension and blood pressure, heart troubles.
(b) It causes headache, irritability and affects the sensory and nervous system.
(c) It causes damage to heart, brain and liver.
(d) It causes emotional disturbances.
