Both gymnosperms and angiosperms bear seeds, then why are they classified separately?

Gymnosperm and angiosperm and classified separately because of the following reasons `:`
(i) The ovule of gymnosperms are naked. But in angiosperms, they are enclosed inside the ovary. They are covered by seed coat.
(ii) In gymnosperms, this wood in non porous. This is because of alsence of xylem vessels. While in angiosperms wood is porous because vessels are present.
(iii) The archaegonia are absent in angiosperms while present in gymnosperms.
