What is the basic difference between starch and cellulose ?

`alpha `- glucose molecules are the monomers of starch and `beta `- glucose molecules are the monomers of cellulose. Starch and cellulose differ to each other in the orientation of -OH group at carbon number 1. The structures of `alpha`-glucose and `beta`-glucose are given as below ,
