Physics is a very vast subject. All other branches of science are closely related to physics.
(i) Relation of physics with chemistry The study of various forces responsible for the interaction among atoms or molecules gives an idea about the nature of bonding and structure of the material.
(il) Relation of physics with mathematics Physics plays a vital role in the development of many mathematical tools such as differential equations, mechanics, vectors etc.
(iii) Relation of physics with biology Optical instruments such as microscope are used to study the microbial world. Radio isotopes are used to diagnose and cure many deadly diseases.
(iv) Relation of physics with geology The concepts of radioactivity has helped to find the age of rocks.
(v) Relation of physics with astronomy Astronomical telescope has helped in studying the various planets and stars in detail.
(ví) Relation of physics with meteorology Weather conditions can be forecasted by studying the pressure and temperature of a region.
