According to principle of homogeneity, the dimensions of the fundamental quantities of two sides of a physical relation must be same. For example , if we have a physical relation
`(M^(x)L^(y)T^(z))=(M^(alpha)L^(beta)T^(gamma))`
Then according to principle of homogeneity `x=alpha`, `y=beta` and `z=gamma`.
