We are given : `u = 0 implies v = 144 km//h = ( 144 xx 1000)/(60 xx 60) ms ^(-1) = 40 ms ^(-1)`
and ` t = 20 s`
Using relation ` v = u + at,` we get
`a = (v - u )/( t ) =(40)/(20) = 2 ms ^(-2)`
Using relation `s = ut + (1)/(2) at ^(2),` we get ,
`s = 0 xx 20 + (1)/(2) xx 2 xx (20) ^(2) = 400 m.`
