What are the effects of refraction on various parameters of incident ray?

Effects of refraction on various parameters of incident rays:
Let `lamda_(1)andlamda_(2)` be the wavelengths of light in rarer medium and denser medium respectively. If the distance BA. is equal to `lamda_(1)`, then the distance AB. will be equal to `lamda_(2)`, thus
`lamda_(1)/(lamda_(2))=(BA.)/(AB.)=c_(1)/(c_(2))orc_(1)/(lamda_(1))=c_(2)/(lamda_(2))`
Thus, so when a wave gets refracted into a denser medium `(c_(1)gtc_(2))`. The wavelength and speed decreases, but the frequency `(v=c/(lamda))` remains the same.
