What is the importance of Coulomb's law in vector form ?

Coulomb.s law in vector form tells us that :
(i) Electrostatic force acts along the line joining the two charges and hence it is a central force.
(ii) Two charges exert equal and opposite force on each other, and. so we can say that Coulomb.s law obeys Newton.s third law of motion.
