Resistivity : The resistance of unit cube of a substance is known as its. resistivity. The resistivity of a conductor depends upon the following factors :
1. It is inversely proportional to the number of electrons per unit volume (number density) of a substance.
2. It is inversely proportional to the relaxation time of free electrons inside the conductor.
