The work function for a certain metal is 4.2 eV. Will this metal give photoelectric emission for incident radiation of wavelenght 330 nm?

Work function = `lambda_0 = 4.2 eV `
Wavelength of incident light `= phi =330 nm = 330 xx 10 mm`
Energy of incident light `= E = (hc)/lambda`
`E = (6.62 xx 10^(-34) xx 3 xx 10^8)/(330 xx 10^(-19))`
`= (19.86)/33 xx 10^(-34 + 8+8)`
`= 0.602 xx 10^(-18)`
`E = 6.02 xx 10^(-19) J`
`E = (6.02 xx 10^(-19))/(1.6 xx 10^(-19)) eV = 3.76 eV`
As `E lt phi_0`, so incident light of wavelength ssion 330 nm can not emit photoelectrons from the given metal surface.
