A common emitter (CE) transistor has a current gain of 100. If emitter current is 8.08 mA, find the base and collector current.

For CE transistor `beta= 100, I_(e)= 8.08 mA, I_(b)=` ? , `I_(c)=`?
`beta= (I_(c))/(I_(b))`
`rArr (I_(c))/(I_(b))= 100 rArr I_(c)= 100 I_(b)`
But `I_(e) = I_(b) + I_(c)`
`8.08= I_(b) + 100 I_(b)= 101 I_(b)`
`I_(b)= (8.08)/(101)= 0.08mA`
`I_(c)= 100 I_(b)= 100 xx 0.08 xx 8mA`
