Explain basic elements of communication system with the help of block diagram.

Basic elements of a communication system are :
1. Transmitter 2. Communications channel. 3. Receiver
Transmitter : A device that converts the signal into an electrical signal, mixes it with carrier wave and then transmits it into the medium is called transmitter Communication channel: A medium adopted by the modulated signal to travel from transmitter to receiver is called communication channel.
It is of two types: (i) Guided communication channel (ii) Unguided communication channel
Recelver: A device which receives the signal, recovers useful information from it by demodulation, amplifies it and then delivers it to the output device is called receiver.
