Crystal Lattice or Space Lattice : The regular three dimensional arrangement of points in space is called a crystal lattice.
Singnificance of Lattice Point
(i) Each point a lattice is called lattice point or lattice site.
(ii) Each point in a crystal lattice represents one constituent particle which may be an atom, a molecule or an ion.
(iii) Lattice points are joined by staright lines to bring out the geometry of lattice.
