Explanation

(i) ZIFT. Zygote intra-follopian transfer embryo transfer at 8-celled blastomere stage into fallopian tube of female is called zygote intra-fallopian transfer (ZIFT). It is a method of ET (embryo transfer) used in test tube baby.or IVF method.
(ii) GIFT. Gamete intra-fallopian transfer. It includes the transfer of an ovum from a donor into the fallopian tube of another female who cannot ovulate due to one or other reason along with men.s sperm. So fertilisation occurs in Vivo.
