Decomposers (reducers). They are saprotrophic microorganism which obtain nourishment from organic remains. In the process, Organin remains are completely degraded It liberates inorganic nutrients. Because of this phenomenon the decomposer are called mineralisers. The phenomenon is essential for biogeochemical cycling.
