Food web. It refers to feeling relationship of organisms within and ecosystem or a network of interconnected food chains.
Characters (i) IT consists of number of inter connected food chains through which food and energy passes in the ecosystem
(ii) Members of higher trophic level can feed upon a number of alternative organisms of the lower trophic level
(iii) Food webs increase the stability of the ecosystems.
