List some conservation strategies to protect the wild life.

Following is the list of strategies for conservation of wildlife-
(i) wildlife protection in natural as well as artificial habitats.
(ii) Endangered, vulnerable rare species should be given preference over other in the conservation programmes.
(iii) to provide proper habitat to the wild animals, the air, water and land should be properly managed.
(iv) wild varieties of plants and animals should be preserved for various breeding programmes.
(v) the feeding areas breeding grounds, resting sites etc. of wild animals should be kept intact for animals, safe growth and reproduction.
(vi) Instead of a single species, whole ecosystem should be safeguard.
(vii) Areas should be protected for migratory animals.
(viii) National parks and sanctuaries should be set up to take care of wild animals.
(ix) Hunting shold be prohibited, especially during breeding season.
(x) People should be educated and children should be inspired about the need and modes of conservation of wildlife.
(xi) International trade on wild plants, animals and their products should be refulated by law.
