The loss of one species may lead to extinction of another. Explain it by taking an example.

If any species becomes, extinct, then other species depending upon this in an obligatory way also become extinct. For example, when a fish species which is a host for number of parasites become extinct, then depending parasitic species on the host will also become extinct.
