`[NiCl_(4)]^(2-)` is paramagnetic while `[Ni(CO)_(4)]` is diamagnetic though both are tetrahedral Why?

In `[Nicl_(4)]^(2-), Ni^(2+)`  is co-ordinated with four `Cl^(-)` ligands and follows `sp_(3)` hybridization with two unpaired electrons on `Ni^(2+)` whereas in `[Ni(CO)]_(4)`, the Ni atom is co-ordinated with four CO ligands follows `sp^(3)`hybridization having no unpaired electrons on Ni atom as `Cl(-)` is weak field ligand and CO is strong field.
