Atomic mass ofan unknown metal can be determine by applying following formula if we know its mass density and the dimensions of unit cell of its crystal
`M=(d xx a^3xxN)/Z`
Where d = Density of crystal
`N_0` = Avogadros Number
M =Atomic mass of the element
= Edge of unit cell
Z =No.of particles present per unit cell.
