The electrical resistance in ohms of any specimen of material varies with temperature according to the approximate law. R - R_0 [1 + 5 xx 10^-3 (T - T_0)] The resistance is 101.6 Omega at triple point of water and 165.5 at normal meting point of head (600.5K).
