Calculate the number of electron, proton and neutron in sulphide ion (S*-2)

Explanation

Mercury cell consists of a zinc vessel. This zinc vessel acts as anode. A carbon rod, placed in it, acts as cathode. Moist mercuric oxide mixed with KOH is used as electrolyte. It is placed between the two electrodes. A lining of porous paper is used to separate the electrolyte from anode.
