Hydrate isomerism
The compounds having same molecular formula but different number of water molecules present as ligands are called hydrate isomers. This phenomenon is known as hydrate isomerism. For example, `[CoCl(H_2O) (NH_3)_4]Cl_2 and [COCl_2 (NH_3)_4 ] Cl. H_2O` have same molecular composition but differ in number of water molecules as ligands.
