Why do aldehydes and ketones have high dipole moments?

Due to electronegativity difference partial positive charge is created on C and negative on O-atom as a result C-atom is acting as electrophile and O-atom as nucleophile. As a result carbonyl group is polar in nature and that.s why aldehydes and ketones have large dipole moments (2.3 - 2.8 D).
