Why boiling point of alkyl cyanide are higher than those of isomeric isocyanides ?

The boiling point of alkyl cyanide is higher than that of alkyl isocyanide due to the attractive forces in alkyl cyanides. These forces develop due to the polar nature of alkyl cyanides. So, greater forces of attraction in alkyl cyanide make them high boiling point compounds.
