How aniline is converted to phenyl isothiocyanate ?

This conversion is carried out with alcoholic carbon disulphide and solid KOH. The product formed is thus treated with concentrated HCl, gives phenyl isothiocyanate.

This reaction is known as Hoffmann mustard oil reaction.
