Write a note on semiconservative mode of DNA replication.

Replication is the unique property of DNA by virtue ofwhirh it can make another DNA molecule and which is an exact copy of itself. In this process, the two strands of DNA helix unwind and each helix acts as a template for the synthesis of new strand. Due to specific base pairing, the newly synthesised strand is the exact copy of strand of original DNA. So, two double stranded DNA are formed.
