Give the boundary surface diagrams of p-orbitals.

The boundary surface diagrams for three p-orbitals are given below:

In these diagrams, nucleus is at the centre. Each p-orbital consists of two lobes on either side of the plane that pass through the nucleus. The probability of finding the electron is zero on the plane where two lobes touch each other. The size, shape and energy of the three orbitals are identical. They differ only in the way that the lobes are oriented along the x, y or z axis.
