Energy of subshells given by Boury.s rule or (n +l) rule.
According to this rule, lower the value of (n + l), lower is the energy If (n+l) value of same then lower the value of n will have the lower energy . So, values of (n+l for different eectrons ae as floows:
`{:((a)4 + 2 = 6, (b) 3 + 2 = 5 ,(c)4 + 1 = 5), ((d) 3 +2 = 5, (e) 3 +1 = 4, (f) 4 +1 = 5):}`
So, the arrangement in increasing order is `(e) lt (b) = (d) lt (c ) = (f) lt (a)`
