What are the dipole induced dipole forces ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Dipole induced dipole forces are present in between the molecules having permanent dipoles and molecules lacking permanent dipoles. Permanent dipole of the polar molecule induces dipole on the non polar molecules by deforming its electronic cloud.
