Frequency, `v= 2.53 kHz = 2.53 xx 10^(3) Hz`
We are to calculate, Speed of sound in steel, We know that,
In fundamental mode, wavelength,
`lambda = 2l = 2 xx l = 2m`.
Speed of the sound in the steel rod,
`v = ulambda =2.53 xx 10^(3) xx 2 = 5.06 xx 10^(3) m//s = 5.06 km//s`
