Emulsion : Emulsion are the colloidal solution in which, both the dispersed phase and dispersion medium are liquids.
There are two types :
(1) Oil in water (2) Water in oil
Oil in water : In this case, oil acts as the dispersed phase and water as the dispersion medium for example : milk.
Water in oil : In this case, water acts as the dispersed phase while the oil behave as the dispersion medium.
For Example : butter.
