Height of a tank in the form of an inverted cone is 10 m and radius of its circular base is 2 m. The tank contains water and it is leaking through a hole at its vertex at the rate of 0.02m^(3)//s. Find the rate at which the water level changes and the rate at which the radius of water surface changes when height of water level is 5 m.

Two vessels have the same base area but different shapes. the first vessel takes twice the volume of water than the second, vessel requires to fill upto a particular common height. Is the force exerted by water on the base of the vessel the same in the two cases? If so, why do the vessel filled with water to that same height give differnt readings on a weighing scale?

Three beakers labelles as A, B and C each containing 25 mL of water were taken. A small amount of NaOH, anhydrous CuSO_4 and NaCl were added to the breakers A, B and C respectively. It was observed that there was an increase in the temperature of the solutions containers in beaker A, and B, where in case of beaker C, the temperature of the solution falls. Which one of the following statements(s) is(are) correct? (i) In beaker A and B, exothermic process has occured. (ii)In beaker A and B, endothermic process has occured. (iii) In beaker C exothermic process as occured. (iv) In beaker C endothermic process has occured.

A container opened from the top and made up of a metal sheet, is in the form of a frustum of a cone of height 16 cm with radii of its lower and upper end as 8 cm and 20 cm, respectively. Find the cost of made which can completely fill the container, at the rate of Rs 20 per litre. Also find the cost of metal shape used to make the container, if it costs Rs 8 per 16cm^(2) . (Take pi=3.14 )
