What do the government do to protect and conserve wildlife?

Explanation

To conserve our forest and wildlife different protected areas called sanctuaries, national parks and biosphere reserves have been developed. Plantation, cultivation, grazing, felling trees, hunting and poaching are prohibited here.
Features of these protected areas are as follows,

(i) Sanctuary: These are the areas where animals are protected from any disturbance to them and their habitat.
(ii) National Park: These are the areas reserved for wildlife where they can freely use the habitats and natural resources.
(iii) Biosphere Reserve: These are large areas of protected land for conservation of wildlife plant and animal resources and traditional life of the tribals living in the area.
The government lays down rules, methods and policies to protect and conserve forest and wildlife.
