What happens to the force between two objects, if the mass of one object is doubled ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

By universal law of gravitation,
`F = (G xx m_(1) xx m_(2))/(r^(2))`
where `m_(1), m_(2)` = mass of two objects
r = distance between them.
The force becomes doubled when the mass of one body is doubled.
