Take a coil and connet it with a galvanometer. Bring a bar magnet near the coil. Does galvanometer deflects? Now, move the bar magnet away from the coil. What do you observed? Explain your observation.
Repeat the same activity by bringing both the coil and magnet towards itself fast. observe the deflection of galvanometer. is it more as compared to the previous case? Explain?

A coil of insulated copper wire is connected to a galvanometer what will happen if a bar magnet is held stationary in the coil?

When primary coil P is moved towards secondary coil S (as shown in the Fig.) the galvanometer shows momentary deflection. What can be done to have larger deflection in the galvanometer with the same battery?

The coil of a galvanometer is 0.02 xx 0.06 m^2 . It consits of 200 turns of fine wire and is in a magnetic field of 0.2 tesla. The restoring torque constant of the suspension fibre is 10^-6 N m per degree. Assuming the magnetic field to be radial. What is the maxium current that can be measured by this galvanometer, if the scale can accommodate 30^@ deflection?
