Circular motion

It is very important to get to know the right idea about the basic forces when you learn circular motion. Centripetal force and centrifugal force. are the two forces that form the foundation of circular motion.

Centripetal force

On any given circular path, if a particles move with a uniform speed of V having the radius (r),  there will be a centripetal acceleration of magnitude (v2/r). However, there is a continous change of direction and always maintains its position towards the circle. We are knowledgebake that according to the second law of Newton, the force produces the acceleration in the same direction like that of the force. Have a look at the below diagram
