Triple fusion. When one male gamete fuses with two polar nuclei, it produces triploid primary endoperm nucleus (PEN). As it involves fusion of three haploid nuclei it is termed as triple fusion. It takes place in embryo sac.
One male gamete and 2 polar nuclei are involved in it.
