Induced emf can be produced by
(i) changing the magnetic flux density.
(ii) changing the surfce area of the closed circuit.
(iii) changing the angle between the direction of magnetic field and normal to the surface area of the circuit.
Direction of induced emfcan be determined by Lenz.s law.
