Explain, whether an induced current will be developed in a conductor, if it is moved in a direction parallel to magnetic field.

Induced e.m.f. is produced only when magnetic flux linked with it changes. Since there is no change in the magnetic flux linked with a conductor moving parallel to the magnetic field, hence no induced e.m.f. is produced in it.
