The use of manure is better than the use of fertilisers. This could be explained as:
(i) Manure helps in enriching soil with nutrients and organic matter and increases soil fertility. However, the continuous use of fertilisers can destroy soil fertility and harm the microorganisms.
(ii) In using manure, we use biological waste material. Using biological waste material is also a way of recycling waste. Excessive use of fertilisers causes water pollution.
