Renewable resources : Renewable resources are those which either never run out, or those that are replaced within a reasonable period of time through natural processes. These are inexhaustible resources. Examples: Air, solar radiations and water. Non-renewable resources : Non-renewable resources are those which once exhausted cannot be replenished within a short span of time. They take millions of years to get replenished. Hence, they are exhaustible resources. Examples : Coal and petroleum.
