Why should soda-acid and foam-type extinguishers not be used in fighting electrical fires?

In both types of fire extinguishers, the resultant solution contains sodium sulphate, sodium bicarbonate and sometimes conc. `H_2SO_4`. These are electrolytes and may conduct electricity resulting in electric shocks or enhance short circuiting which can cause another fire.
