The frequency of a source of sound is `100 Hz`. How many times does it vibrate in a minute ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Frequency of source, `v = 100` Hz
Time interval, `t =1" minute"= 60 s`
Number of vibrations in 1 minute, n = ?
From relation,
Number of vibrations = Vibrations per second `xx` time
i.e., `n = vt`
Putting values, we get
`n = 100 xx 60 = 6000`
