Time taken by stone to reach the pond,
`t_("free fall") = sqrt((2h)/(g)) = sqrt((2 xx 500)/(10) ) s`
Time taken by sound of splash to reach the top,
`t_("sound") = (h)/( v) = (500)/( 340)" s"`
Time after which splash is heard is `t_("total") = t_("sound") + t_("free fall")`
`=(500)/( 340) + sqrt(( 2 xx 500)/(10) ) = 1.47 + 10`
