Centrifugation is a method in which particles of different weights are separated by rotating them in a machine called centrifuge at high speed. The lighter particles move away from the heavier ones and come near the centre. e.g., when milk is churned in a machine like mixer, the cream is separated and collected near the centre while this milk with dissolved solids is left behind.
