Describe a method of making artificial magnets.

Explanation

By stroking method we can make artificial magent. Fist of all place an iron needle on a tablr. Hold it firmly and stroke it fron one end to the other with one pole of a bar magnet. Do not lift the magnet while sliding it over the iron needle. After you reach the other end, lift the magnet high and bring it back tot he first end and stroke it again. Repeat this for about 30 times. Now, test the needle to see if it has become a magnet. Suspend it freely. If you stroke with the north pole of the magnet, the end of the iron neede from which the stroking is started becomes the north pole. The other end becomes the south pole or vice-versa.
