A farmer moves along the boundary of a square field of side 10m in 40 s. What will be the magnitude of displacement of the farmer at the end of 2 minutes 20 seconds?

Side of a square = 10 m
Perimeter of square `=4xx10m=40m`
Perimeter of square `=4xx10m=40m` In 1 s the farmer will eover
`=(40)/(40)=1m`
In 80 s (2 min 20 s) the farmer will cover `=1xx80=80m`
Thus, the farmer will come back to the starting point 80 s after taking two rounds. Hence displacement is
