We are able to see objects around us due to diffused reflection. Justify.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When light rays fall on an irregular or rough surface, they get reflected in different directions. As a result, reflected light falls over a larges area. Most of the objects around us cause diffused reflection of light and scatter light falling on them in all directions. We can see objects clearly because of diffused reflection as it scatters light in different directions. Regular reflection creates glare and so we can not see things clearly and comfortably.
