What were the limitations of newland's law of octaves?

Limitations of Newlands. Law of Octaves.
(i) It was found that the Law of Octaves was applicable only. up to calcium, as after calcium every eighth element did not possess properties similar to that of the first.
(ii) Newland.s order was framed taking into account only 56 elements existed at that time and was not applicable later on for newly discovered elements.
(iii) Some elements in same note were having properties different from other elements and resembles to elements of some other note e.g. Iron, which resembles cobalt and nickel in properties, has been placed far away from these elements.
